While traveling in Seoul, I looked up South Korean tattoos and came across YM Tattoo. What I really liked was that they had a wide portfolio, so I could preview different works before deciding.
This time, I wanted something with a Korean touch, so I chose a kimbap tattoo design. It turned out super cute and pretty, even better in person than in the photos. I’m really happy with how it came out.
Beyond kimbap, YM Tattoo also offered many Korean-inspired tattoo options. From traditional patterns to symbolic icons reinterpreted in a modern way, the designs felt unique and meaningful, especially for someone visiting Korea.
Another thing I noticed in their portfolio was the variety of fine line and lettering tattoos. There were many minimal designs done with thin lines, as well as English lettering. It felt like they could match any preference.
Overall, the design quality and finishing were impressive, making it feel like a trustworthy Seoul tattoo shop. From my kimbap tattoo to the Korean-inspired works, everything looked polished, and just browsing through the different styles was a fun experience.
My experience at YM Tattoo became a memorable part of my Korea trip. The best part was being able to choose a design that truly reflected Korea, not just a tattoo.
