Living and working in Korea for over a year now, I wanted a tattoo that could represent my time here in a unique way. Together with my boyfriend, we decided on matching stamp tattoos at YM Tattoo in Hongdae — a playful idea that felt just right for us.

Instead of a long plan or heavy meaning, it was simply about creating something playful to celebrate our time together in Korea. That’s how we ended up at YM Tattoo in Hongdae, turning the idea into reality.
We went with a colorful design instead of only black ink, and it was absolutely worth it. The shades blended so beautifully, and the finished tattoo looked vivid without being too much. The colors gave the design a warmth that made it feel alive, almost like a real piece of artwork on the skin.
Doing it together with my boyfriend made the whole experience even more special. The matching stamp tattoos became our way of marking this chapter of our lives in Korea, almost like collecting memories on a postcard we’ll carry with us forever.
